My name is Gintaras Valiulis and I am a recent graduate from the Master’s Program in Architectural Design from the John. H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design at the University of Toronto. Prior to completing my Master’s Degree I graduated from the University of Toronto with Bachelor’s Degrees in Architectural Design and Criminology. Education and learning are extremely important to me and I seek opportunities to place myself within situations where I can be inspired, grow and develop my skills. I possess CADD Certificates FROM GEORGE BROWN COLLEGE IN BOTH AUTODESK REVIT AND AUTOCAD. THROUGHOUT MY MASTER’S DEGREE I DEVELOPED INTERMEDIATE SKILLS IN ADOBE PHOTOSHOP, ILLUSTRATOR AND INDESIGN, AS WELL AS RHINOCEROS FOR 3D MODELING.
Currently I work at adamson associates architects at the toronto office as an intern architect. I work closely with other members on a team to complete projects and meet client deadlines and expectations.
previously i worked at Pearce McCluskey Architects as part of their technical and design staff AND engagEd in working AND construction drawings daily for the numerous projects at the firm. Prior to that I worked at Edward Makauskas Architect where I was first introduced to the construction process and THE BUILDING ENVIRONMENT. My knowledge extendS past the office environment as well SINCE I HAVE gainED hands on and situational experience from my time employed as an employee in the Lumber Building Materials department at the Home Depot and my time as a labourer for Deltro Electric.
I chose architecture as my future career since I am fascinated by design and enjoy using it to solve problems. The architectural profession is one of the rare professions in the world where it invites and encourages the creative mind. I enjoy seeing things from different perspectives, and envisioning spaces and then solving how these spaces can be realized and assembled. Architecture shapes and influences the way space is experienceD and I enjoy the challengeS and CREATIVITY THAT IT DEMANDS.
